Saw them last night in The Grand. Fantastic !!! First of all, great musicianship from them and supporting orchestra. Uncanny Lennon lookalike, And sounded like him too.
Same for “Paul and George” with all the great harmonies you’d expect from The Beatles. Excellent understated drumming from “Ringo” ( even had the same big nose ! )
The guitar riff for “while my guitar gently weeps” could have been Clapton, it was so original.
Proper standing ovation! They HAD to come back on, so we could all relive our youth, for just one more time.
You’ll never ever, beat The Beatles, but these guys brought all those memories flooding back to life, by recreating the unique sound of the time, that must have inspired generations of musicians, even up to now.
If you ‘ain’t seen them, get ur arris down, to wherever they are playing, you won’t regret it ! |  | | |  |

Seen them 3 times now. Each show the set list changes, keeping it fresh but always in chronological order. Funny chat between the guys. "Lennon" is actually from Los Angeles. Funnily enough I really enjoyed Ringo's drumming as well, especially on Day in the life. A great night out. As you said, get and see them. |  |
