Got sky sports news on, and they just said a deal is close for 15 million, that is way too cheap surely? To Man Utd.

Anyone that thought we were going to get 20-30 million were being a bit daft.

10-15 mill max.

He's a one season championship player, whatever we may think of his potential. That actually is probably on the top side of what we can realistically expect. The key with a player like him is add ons, because if he does come good, he might come good spectacularly.

Hopefully the real money will be made via a sell-on clause.

Perhaps the instructions to our new DoF were to move Gonzo’s decimal points to correspond with players’ values. £15m for James and £1.7m for clunkers like Clucas.

It’s a start.

£15m would be a great price for a Championship player with one year left on his contract.

He's a one season Championship player with 12 months left on his contract. £15m is a good deal.

Hopefully with a sell on clause and first dibs on any decent Utd loanees.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Their u23s side has been worse than ours for the last few years. Academy stuttering as much as their first team.

Dylan Levitt will be a player in a year or two.

I'd be more than happy with 15m and maybe add on's
Remember his game is all about pace his skill levels have a way to go ,but he pulls a hamstring and his games in trouble m Owen, and gigs didn't play half the games they should have due to hammys

£15 million for James is exceptionally good money
.
I would imagine it would be partly performance related and hope for a sell on %age.

He’s coming back on loan next season.

Very inexperienced with only 30 odd League career games to date he’s raw with huge potential but his finishing certainly isn’t of Premier League quality yet. £15m is about right 👍🏻

Your point about hamstrings and pace is fair, but Giggs played over 1000 matches for Wales and Man United combined.

He missed a few games because of hamstring problems, but nowhere near half. Yoga helped enormously and knowledge of how to prevent those kinds of injuries have come on leaps and bounds.

You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.

Giggs went to yoga classes? That would explain a fair bit.

Bournemouth signing Bristol City's left back for £13m. Does make £15m for DJ seem a bit less impressive.

That's changed my perspectve a bit too. Especially if he were to go to a moneybags club.

Edit, only one year on his contract though.

Being reported as a club record fee which would put it at £15m+ rather than £13m. Other championship clubs will be looking at their better and more established players and changing their pricetags.

Bournemouth go mad for young players. Premier League money gone to some heads.
