Granted the lockdown affects it but is there much contact.Do they all understand how much the club means and particularly how much it mean to beat Cardiff. Posted in peace

It's just another game, albeit one where they may receive a little extra verbal abuse on social media should they make a mistake compared to any other game. If I was playing for Ipswich - I wouldn't particularly care if we were playing Norwich. It's just another game. I'm sure all the players will be providing the usual soundbites to appease the supporters who care deeply - some may even spend 10 minutes researching what to do in order to boost their reputation amongst supporters (Pratley doing the "swim away"). At the end of the day they'll leave for more money or better opportunities elsewhere without giving the club or it's supporters they strung along a second thought.

Thanks for the reply Dwight.I posed the question as Steve has commented regarding negativity coming from outside. If the players are in lockdown and are not meet the public, then t can be assumed any "negativity" comes from social media. If that's the case, then they should all grow a pair of gonad or quit wasting time on twitter.

Cooper is of course talking to the customers of the club owned 21% by the fans 10% by sellers in 2016 nd 69% owned by Americans. He is doing this with their permission presumably via the CEO Mr Winter.

For me I'd never directly criticise a player on social media networks, I'd say what I thought on here though as people should, it's a forum about the football club we support.

The lockdown ,no doubt ,has killed that stone dead. Good players prove fans wrong Good manager too, without histrionics Ive hammered Wayne Pivac like many others but he has stuffed us. Is it a problem? Nope. Why? Because the team wins. Players need to undertand they are very privileged and should never take fans for granted a they will be here long after they have gone. They are employees. Only a very few become more, like,Curt,Leon and in fairness Trundle-a scouser at that. Lee seems pretty sanguine considering the anti Liverpool poison on here so no doubt he should tell the players to disregard it all.

Ipswich v Norwich doesn’t compare Swansea v Cardiff. We have plenty of local lads who know what this means. Cabango to head the winner 😉

Well balanced with a healthy dose of realism. It's a trait not uncommon among most pro footballers nowadays, from young academy and even through to semi-pro, for those that don't quite make the cut. Healthy dose of humility and sense of community. A massive awareness, fair play.
