He cannot be faulted for effort at all.Ever.He has made some poor decisions on the field but he's a lad to respect. I love the lad to bits. Last night ,he pulled his tripe out and that' what makes me seething when people mention hourihane.

Do not mention Arriola. The Chief has been quiet of late and he will say Lowe could not be rested as the 7 games Arriolal was available they won four drew one and lost two.

Spot on. Putting a non match fit player who isn't a striker in the team instead of Lowe would have been a terrible decision.

It seems a shame to me that the more I see of Cullen the more I wonder if he could be a good player that just doesn't fit in our team.

And after it.. according to you. You said you got it wrong and the international break didn’t do anything for those travelling internationally. Jamal played for Jamaica if memory serves. The problem with trolling like you do, is you often forget what ridiculous stand points you have taken... and then contradict them.

Don’t be so stupid, after he had a nightmare on first one back I admittedly thought he was even more shot than first expected, but to be honest the whole side were awful, he played in Austria I believe for Jamaica but still had 7/8 days rest in between if memory serves and it’s no coincidence his form returned shortly after. Mirroring his form earlier on in the season. Problem is, you continually make points which are then blown of out of water. Andre Ayew for example, said himself the players were tired, but a tennis player who played at a poor standard and still failed miserably thought otherwise. I’ll choose to listen to the former. Smart guy is Guto. He's spot on too. Fatigue plays a big part in the ups and downs of Cooper's teams, hence our generally decent starts to a season, and our reaction to coming back after the first lockdown. It's almost as if those who continually criticised him for his lack of rotation and disregard for using a lot of players he had available were on to something.

Which part is stupid specifically? I didn’t give an opinion, I stated a fact. You claimed the players were ran into the ground and the International break was going to make them magically better. First game back and you walked back that statement saying you didn’t realise how bad it was, got it wrong and they are still knackered. Which points have been blown out of the water exactly? You tend you use that phrase when they clearly haven’t and you have no idea how to. I said I was tired last week, the next day I wasn’t tired anymore. Tiredness is not a terminal condition, you just use it whenever we lose because you have the inability to think critically, take that from an amateur tennis player.

All players and all teams will differ from fatigue. That’s part and parcel of sports, however to clumsily throw out the line without understanding the science behind fatigue is as thick as it gets. Guto is correct, performance levels will dip if the players are fatigued, same could be said for Barnsley. Performance levels will also dip if you play fresh worse players, otherwise we may as well loan Cwmaman first team who didn’t play the week before and give them a game... “fresh see”. We would be slaughtered. Whilst we have a squad, they have their roles. The likes of Whittaker isn’t good enough to be starting games at this level at the moment, question marks whether a number of the squad are. But again, being fatigued at one point is one thing... blaming fatigue for every defeat is quite another. Our record is excellent in the games that come within 4 days of the last, so the argument doesn’t really stack up.

On reflection maybe it was settling into new formation maybe? Who knows. I'll give credit his dues though, he stuck with the 433, when people like yourself questioned "why we should stick with it". Your third paragraph doesn't even deserve a response, this is high level sport, not a knock about with your £80 Wilson Raquet down the local council court.

That’s my point, you have very little faith in your statements and they can be undone simply because we don’t play well. So you are basing whether we are tired or not on whether we win or lose. You can’t respond to it because it’s a complete and utter fact, whether I am playing Roger Federer at Wimbledon or Roger Llewelyn in Llandrindod Wells.. fatigue works the same way and science does not change. You have to understand it, which you clearly don’t. Hence why you rubbish your own statements the very next game based on if we win or not.

I have very little faith in my statements? I, along with many others, have complete faith in our opinions of the squad being out on it's feet. Our best player said so, the performances said so, watch the games and try not to get too engrossed in heatmaps etc. What do you think about 433 these days Doc? [Post edited 19 May 2021 8:35]
