Football season restarts on Dec 10th 17:48 - Sep 23 with 484 views

On the day of the World Cup quarter finals.
Bit odd.

I assume as England are going to win it and there’s a possibility of Wales being there still these fixtures will be called off ? Or some of them ? I see the premier league starts back on Boxing day.

I only say this as surely if England are playing this will affect the attendances at games in the championship ? And of course if we are fortunate enough to have a run in the tournament we won’t have Cabango or Allen at least in the swans side.

Is it still the rule if you have 2 players on international duty you can ask for a postponement. It used to happen when we were in the lower leagues.

Few games called off in the lower leagues today because of it.
