You are joking right ? You made it up didn't you ? Just in order to even think 'competing for Europe' or 'top 10 Club flirting with Europe within two years' they must be so incredibly thick that I can't imagine they'd be able to type.
The only way this pantomime will end is if they are relegated from the PL. Their Financial situation would be so dire they'd follow Portsmouth down to Division 2.

No - he'll have funds to assemble a couple of new players in January, and with a bit of luck and some good tactical changes, they could stay up. I still think there are 3 worse teams in the PL than Cardiff.
Flirting with Europe? Well, any PL club has half a chance in the cups, as Swansea and Wigan showed last year, but to qualify through the league, you need to be better than clubs like Everton, Liverpool & Spurs.

The author is probably right - I'd say that only Marshall, Caulker and Medel are genuine PL quality. As most successful "smaller" clubs have found, you don't need a whole squad of top class players to survive, but you definitely need 5 or 6 to carry the rest of the squad along. |  | | |
