The Oregon series isn't that expensive $2000 but you can buy one at a discount of you look around . Trouble is that its hard if not impossible to find a Breedlove distributor in the UK last time I looked. Some teddies got thrown out of Kim Breedlove s pram.
Mine has a distinctive solid Myrtlewood top and sides with a maple fretboard giving it a distinctive fresh clean zingy sound which is good for flat picking/fingerstyle but I use it for strumming and its pure Oregon freshness in wood.
