I don't think anybody is happy with the performance as such are they? It is more to do with being happy we won.
Although we have an utterly awful squad so I am not really sure why people are expecting big classy performances as I ma not sure we are capable of dominating PL matches anymore. That ship sailed with the sales of Ayew and Williams two of our most important players in what was an already struggling side last year remember.
I feel quite sorry for Bob who has been handed a thankless task. The squad has not been invested in properly. The players who have been brought in are not really up to standard lets be fair. Unfortunately we are one of those clubs this year that have to scrap for everything, there is no easy games or expected wins for us this season, so anything we get is absolutely massive. |  |

The one thing that hits you is the sheer lack of composure on the ball by everyone and that I am afraid has been coached out of them by successive managers, as the former board members repeated the mantra of money over rides football

I thought we showed compusure and some decent technical touches quite a few times, inbetween the comedy moments that is. I don't think it's too far away although a few of the usual suspects will always struggle.
We need a better platform to build on though. Needed VDH's height yesterday so badly, not sure why Bob couldn't see it or hadn't he realised Palace are stuffed full of tall players? |  | | |

Amat and VDH is our best CB pairing at the moment. It's fairly fûcking obvious.

I don't think people are happy with the performance but the way we won the game will have done wonders for confidence as it wasnt very high
