Llorente's winning goal? 16:01 - Mar 5 with 3003 views | magicdaps10 | Foul or not? He did push him but not enough in t for me, defender was far to weak. Interesting that some pundits thought it was a foul. If it were a foul then i suppose it was a case of two wrongs certainly made a right in this instance.

Llorente's winning goal? on 16:04 - Mar 5 with 2581 views | nyc_swans | you see it given as a foul, certainly. it's 50/50. it's not something to moan over, like Dyche was doing, but i think Llorente puts himself in a good enough position that taylor kept his whistle in his pocket.

There was hardly any contact and as you say he was way above the defender in the air when the lightest of contact was made. If every goal with that level of contact was disallowed you have very few headed goals. I thought MOTD made far too much if it.

Llorente's winning goal? on 16:13 - Mar 5 with 2531 views | Pegojack | Didn't Ferminho do exactly the same thing to Olssen when scoring against us with a header at Anfield? Fortunately it didn't matter in the end.
Llorente's winning goal? on 16:17 - Mar 5 with 2516 views | Dr_Winston | Probably be pissed off if we lost a game to a striker scoring doing that to FF or Alfie. Then again, we were owed a decision big time so f*ck it.

Llorente's winning goal? on 16:27 - Mar 5 with 2470 views | NeathJack | It was more a foul than not but there was no way Taylor was going to give it given the penalty incident. If he had blown, then the crowd reaction would have been interesting to day the least. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I wonder if Taylor would have seen the penalty incident at half time. If he did he would know that he owed us a big one.

Never a foul, slightest of touches from Llorente and the defender lost his own balance watching flight of the ball. I never onced complained in my playing days about someone leaning on me to jump for a header. If an attacker got the better of me it was my own fault for not being strong enough and I would question my positioning. [Post edited 5 Mar 2017 17:16]

Toshack, Ron /Wyn Davies, John Charles, Mick Jones, Mark/tony hateley , Alan Smith, not forgetting that T*** Jordan.... Only illegal thing on the pitch yesterday was the Ref! Foul my Ar&e!

Llorente's winning goal? on 18:48 - Mar 5 with 2054 views | Clinton | From where I sit in the North it was a blatent foul, he pushed the man before making contact with the ball. Seems forwards do get more leeway recently. Less of these seem to be to be given unless the goalie is involved. Cheeky Nando made sure he got the ball in the net. Dared the ref to strike it off. Experience.

Exactly - we said it was a foul (at Anfield) but didn't moan too much 'cos we won - Burnley are moaning 'cos they lost - get over it you "hump ball" "time wasting" tw*ts - you had a penalty you shouldn't have and still couldn't get the point your negative attitude was looking for throughout the game!!!
