Most of the Postie's around here run round in shorts, its a comfort thing I suppose, plus there's nothing worse than running around in rain soaked trousers.
Shorts are a far more logical item of clothing to wear in the rain than trousers. If you get that wet then skin dries faster than material.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

It’s not though is it. I meant when out in public places like restaurants etc, not just in the house or walking the streets with the dog.

Tbh i just shake my head
I have to wear them as my hands are knackered and cant do up buttons. And I cant wear jogging bottoms due to a swelling in one of my legs due to a bad blood clot 2 years ago.
