Transfer Window 22:10 - Jan 3 with 10803 viewsjack_lord

It's been four months since the last window closed and already ten percent of this one has passed.

40 million pounds ready to be spent apparently.

I would have thoughts that four months would be enough time to have at least a good list.

These owners are pure c nts.

Maybe it will go something like this 😉 ;

Yiadom in = At £2.5M our ‘Star Signing’ of the Window

Mawson Out = £20/25M

Bartley back fit = ‘Like signing a new centre back’

Fabianski Out = £10M

Nordfelt/Mulder = ‘Great opportunity for two great, young European Keepers’

McBurnie Out = On Loan somewhere (subject to paperwork this time)

Ulloa In = On Loan from Leicester (currently 4th choice) ‘A proven PL Striker and PL Winner’

‘Ladies and Gentlemen that concludes our January transfer business and Carlos is very happy with his squad of players ......’

There is no way on earth we have £40m to spend, try £15-£18m.

The logical thing would be to have already lined up targets, but it wouldn’t surprise me at all if we go into the final 10% of the window with no signings.

Proper targeted players would be in by now.

Yep, we needed to do our business early as another load of points will have gone begging by the end of the window.

It has been stated that the club made over 30m surplus on transfers in the summer. The board have also said that this money could be used to bolster the squad.

There have been further payments of tv revenue in to the club since August.

These "owners" are doing my swede in.

27 people who are culpable, oh and of course Jenkins.

You would have thought we would have announced player signings when the window opened - given time needed assimilate them into the squad.

Don't tell Pinnochio, but N'gog is a free agent and he's only 28.

Surprised he's only 28. Even more surprised to see him still referred to as a striker on wiki. Michu in his year and a half with us scored 3 goals less than league goals N'gog has scored in his whole career. Bony 4 more in his first spell.

The £30 million surplus is purely taking into account the transfers, with agents/player fees along with loan fees for Sanches and Abraham we are looking at around just over half of that sum.

For example with add ons we will receive £45 million in the sigurdsson deal;
-Spurs had a 10% sell on clause
-Unless a transfer request is handed in, a percentage would go the the player (and his agent), this can range anywhere from 5-10% in most cases.

You can see how fast the money goes.

It’s an absolute shambles, they should have had deals more or less ready to finalise as soon as the window opened. But no, we’ll wait until the last few days in order to ‘get better value’.

Plus the fact we had 3 loan players return to the club yesterday, ........transfers in seem slim.
looks like squad is being checked to see who we keep for next season in the next level.

Do any of the posters on here really think that a player is going to jump at a contract with Swansea City when only "10%" of the window has passed? Get real, most players are going to wait to see if there is anywhere better available. Face the truth we are not an attractive proposition at the moment.

Closer to the truth.

Also clubs rarely sell if they can't be sure of replacing, which is basically why transfer windows are a bit dull until either one big move goes ahead and the rest of the dominoes fall, or the last couple of days when panic sets in.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I doubt that means anything. None of the three were playing regularly enough to make their loan deals worthwhile. Wouldn't be surprised to see at least two go back out again this month.

Everton spend £27m on Tosun . .We have three players returning from Loan spells . .About sums up what Jenkins is all about . . .

Transfer Window on 10:30 - Jan 4 with 4094 viewsdonkonky

Well we’re competing for players with mid table/ play off championship sides now. As was mentioned earlier what talented Premier league player is going to sign up for a contact that reduces in value if were relegated? We’ve achieved the next level as promised during the sale to the Americans.
