Have to say the staff and facilities at the Heath hospital and Velindre Cancer Centre,Cardiff are exemplary,I agree with Steffan.
Last November,I too almost died when my colon tumour perforated...very lucky to still be around and healthy. The surgeons saved my life.
My ongoing treatment for the liver continues at Velindre,luckily I live close by.
I can honestly say this and probably nearly every similar centre does a fantastic job...really can't fault the staff and facilities there.
Let's hope for all our sakes,we find a cure for this curse that can hit any one of us at anytime.
