Chequers Agreement Dead 15:28 - Jul 9 with 3412 viewswestwalesed

With David Davies gone and Boris Johnson gone, and openly going cap in hand to the Opposition to support her plans, Theresa May is going to have to dump the Chequers White Paper or one Minister will go after another...….I don't see any other option now?

This will go two ways. Both Boris and that slimy Smog creature will probably try to oust the PM. If they fail the government can implement their plan and finally put an end to this nonsense. It's not a plan anyone wanted but it's the least worst option still available.

This debacle has already cost us £40billion, two years of parliamentary time and any shred of respect we once had.

Put an end to this nonsense you say.
Do you really think that would be an end to it.
Millions of very angry people out there now.
The radicalisation has begun.

Agreed - "putting an end to it" could end very, very badly indeed, there could be open rebellion on the streets. But that appears to be a risk Remainers believe is worth taking.

I'm beginning to think that the only way to see this through, if you supported Brexit, is to appoint a Brexit PM, who then appoints a Brexit cross-party cabinet to see the thing through.

Funny that. Most people I’ve spoken to just think the whole thing is farcical. Farmers in Monmouthshire are more concerned about getting a second crop of silage with all this dry weather. You of all people should know that.

Happy days then.
What’s all the fuss about. Let’s forget the result, let’s forget there was even a referendum.

These charades over the future of the Tory party can not continue.
The best for Britain is to stay in the EU and strengthen our position ... but that will take better leadership and political nous than we have seen for many years.

Knowing their was disquiet growing in Britain about EU, Cameron tried renegotiating. Cameron came back touting the deal.

EU leaders openly mocked the "deal".

It's bollocks to claim Britain could strengthen it's position at all; it's been a case of "thank you for your money not f*ck off".

Do I detect a note of desperation there?

I'll tell you what's odds on, son. This shambolic Tory government kicked out very soon and Uncle Jeremy sitting in No.10.

Not a hint of desperation exactly what I've been posting for the last 9 months.

Even now with all this going on Labour are miles behind in the polls and he will not have
the lies to the students to rely on next time.

we all know what David Cameron is.

The EU knew it straight away, as did many in the UK.

in fact I'm amazed the number of people that couldn't see it, and voted for him.

still, everybody knows it now.

It won't happen but if it did the country would be bankrupt within 18 months but the fecktards on here would not mind a bit since they are the types who have nothing and like Corbyn are driven by envy and bitterness of their sad little worthless lives.

Your fellow Swans are ‘the types who have nothing’.
‘Sad little worthless lives’.

You are a fecking thick twwat and thats the truth of the matter.

You have not met any of these good people.

Remember - only God can judge us.
And I hope you find some happiness one day.

" bankrupt within 18 months" Tell me more, is this after 18 months of labour, or within 18 months of leaving the EU?
