At Vale all eleven people arrested were Stoke fans.
Stoke fans are scummy, fat (always very fat) ugly, entitled people. They’re the lousiest glory hunters in the world, brought up on a diet of awful teams coached by the likes of Alan Ball, Chris Kamara, Gary Megson, Tony Pulis and the legendary Mark Hughes.
One fan’s response to the trouble was to blame a tweet by Vale forward Tom Pope in the buildup to the game which triggered a rage in supporters of the 1972 League Cup winners not seen since an overloaded Wrights Pie delivery van broke an axle en route to the Victoria Ground in 1986.
Pope describes them perfectly, of course.
