Had a 30 minute change at Reading coming back from Brentford. Didn't go for a pint, but there's a convenience store not far away that sells beers, wines etc.
As you come out of the station turn left, and around the station, crossing quite a large intersection and its there. |  | | |

Not decided where I'm going for a pint yet. Just as you come out of the station on the three guinieas side if you turn left and head down the steps and follow the road to greyfriers St there are two decent pubs down there the greyfriers and the gateway. I'm fond of the Oakford social just opposite the station. If you walk down the road straight outside the station you'll get to Broad St, the main street through the town centre if you turn left as you come on to Broad Street and go down Broad Street there's a place called the ale House nice little pub but emphasis on little. Or if you were to turn right and follow broad street to the crossroads and go left at the Cross roads you'll get to St Mary's butts, loads of places down there, pubs as well as things like zerodegrees, brewdog etc |  |
