Disgraceful coverage 08:47 - Jan 17 with 1814 viewstrampie

Seen the best part of an hours coverage between Sky and the Beeb the other night after the Brexit vote in the HoC only to see Labour and Conservative politicians, who both have the same stance, Conservatives saying this is the best deal, Labour saying we would do the same as the Conservatives but hope to get a better deal if in power, no coverage when I watched of the opposite view which is the view of the SNP, Plaid, Lib-Dems and Greens which is we should have a peoples vote [as we now know what we are voting for].

A mate of mine seen far more coverage and seen Mays speech after the vote etc and he said that the Beeb showed Mays speech then Corbyns speech but when the SNP leader got up to speak they cut away from him straight away ,now he would have been giving a total and opposite view point to Labour and the Conservatives, the biasness to the right wing establishment by the Beeb is shocking, they have been caught out being pro business over trade unions, pro Israel over the Palestinians, pro union over Scottish independence etc and they just carry on.

In general TV companies, newspapers etc are tools of the right wing.

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

Hardly, I noticed way back in the day [when the troubles were on in NI] that virtually no one else was on the case particularly in regard to the Beeb, now more and more people realise but the majority still have no idea.

The BBC a tool of the right wing, my sides are still splitting after reading that one

The reason that the likes of SNP, Plaid, Lib Dems & Greens are not getting coverage is pretty obvious. No-one is really interested in these parochial amateurs. An analogy would be It’s a bit like watching PL football then switching over to watch non league football

Welsh experts studied it and the research was funded by the Beeb - lol - not what they wanted to hear hey.

As regards the EU and Brexit the Beeb are Eurosceptic [as well as right wing].

They all seem non league to me.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

CBeebies...

In all seriousness, there has been a huge amount of pro Brexit coverage. There was an extended interview with Rees Mogg the nigh5 before last conducted by Andrew Neil (both pro Brexit), there is a daily car crash from John Humphrys (hugely pro Brexit), the BBC have a weekly politics show (This Week) dominated by pro Brexit positions. Immediately after last nights vote Liz Truss was given enormous airtime for her pro Brexit position.

Both party leaders are pro Brexit. Farage is still being given huge amounts of airtime.

Non league? Ashleigh Rd playing fields would be a huge step up in class.

Theresa May is pro Brexit

Listen to her speech she gave to the bankers before the referendumn again. Then tell me she is pro Brexit

The biggest mistake the Conservatives did when they elected Theresa May, is that they never had a vote to elect her that went out to the members to decide and of course never elected a Brexiteer to lead the party

Adam Price had a lengthy interview on BBC Breakfast this morning. Didn't think he came across particularly well, just seemed happy to be acknowledged by "Mrs. May"

I think Plaid have picked another poor leader with that one...

Of course she is. That’s why there is such a problem at the moment.

She may have voted remain but since she’s been the leader, she has resolutely stuck to supporting Brexit - her ‘sense of duty’ as leader (and political ambition) has overturned her personal pre vote position.

As for the brexiteer leading the party bit, we’ve had David Davis, Boris Johnson and Liam Fox in the three positions of influence, all staunch brexiteers, we’ve also had Raab, again a staunch brexiteer. None of them achieved anything even remotely acceptable.

They’ve had their chance and blown it. It’s what comes when fantasy politics meets reality. It falls apart.
