I'm not on twitter, but have taken some time out to read the tweets and they are appalling. Straight forward prison sentences required. I've also seen just normal hate tweets, which in themselves are just hurtful that are also being called racist, we had to be careful and not water down what is clearly racist with ' you are a disgrace, u should fück off' being one example. I still think that is uncalled for but racist ? No, just hateful.
The USA is making the same mistakes and judging a remark if it's towards a person of colour as racist irrespective of the content.

The law doesn't allow that though, unless I'm being too black and white ( I can't help it on matchays ) although it does have other areas to apply regards hate.
In any event, we nearly agree, I'm getting the champagne out, or at least a decent IPA. | |

I don't understand why these tweets are newsworthy.
The extremely sad aspect of modern life is that we are living in a drug fuelled broken society, just take a walk through Swansea centre at any time of day to witness that!
Why on earth give a platform to cretins who can sign up with anonymity to a website is beyond me.
Don't get me wrong racism, bullying or any form of homophobic etc behaviour should receive zero tolerance in society and dealt with as harsh as possible.
A case in point would be the two Chelsea cretins hurling abuse at Sterling.
