Last time we loaned out Dyer, it worked out pretty well for him.
As it stands, we also have Kalulu, Garrick, Peterson, and McKay available but not among our current best XI. I'd much rather see McKay go, like everyone else; I'm just thinking if the point is to save wages that Dyer and Routs are much higher earners. | |

He didn't get a fair shot last season, only the Villa games in weird one-off systems. Didn't look as though Potter fancied him. Even when he said in press conferences that he specifically wanted a left-footer in a centre half position Cian wasn't being selected.
That said he didn't play well last season in the u23s, far below his standards from the season before. Younger prospects have pushed on in the meantime. He's 22 now and made his senior debut 3 years ago. Needs a loan if he's to push on as he won't get any football as a 4th/5th/6th choice. Too old for Wales u21s, no Checkatrade games. | | | |
