Our 'second team' that we played in the 3 EFL Cup matches have done well enough, scoring 11 goals and conceding 3. Would it be such a bad idea to play a similar team against Charlton? Obviously it wouldn't be exactly the same (ie Nordfeldt and McKay would NOT play), but people on here have been crying out for some pace in the team. I feel this would solve that problem.
Surridge, Peterson, Dhanda, Wilmot, John, and Cabango can start in place of Borja, Celina, Byers, Fulton, Naughton, and Rodon.
Then the subs can be Borja for Surridge, Celina for Dhanda, and whatever we need depending on the game situation.
For some players I take out, it's not necessarily because I think they've been poor (ie Rodon). But it's a long season, and resting players isn't such a bad thing. |  |

I haven't heard anything about an injury, and Cooper made comments about what Peterson said, and seemed to understand his frustrations. Just looks like we have very good squad depth at the moment. | |
