Leaders Question Time 19:40 - Nov 22 with 4262 viewsladyjack

Huge Corbyn support outside tonight.
Corbyn talking about Swansea, unbelieve but its true.

Although Nicola is away from home i'm expecting an away win by her tonight.
And there seems to be huge support in the hall for her with Scots in the audience.

Doubt if its worth watching Swinson and Johnson later on.

Sturgeon ‘it’s only right in a democracy that people get to change their mind and only right that people get a confirmatory vote on brexit.

Asked if she’d offer the Scottish people a confirmatory vote on the deal of a Scottish independence referendum.

Sturgeon ‘no’.

Parliament was a Pantomime , this election is becoming a circus!

Her, quite sane, point is that you sort things out first then vote. In that scenario, a confirmatory referendum isn't logical.

Anyhoo, thought Corbyn did well enough, Sturgeon isn't really relevant but Swinson is currently sinking like a stone.

I’m watching Fulham qpr. Good game QPR should be ahead.

I’d forgotten about Mawson. That means we basically start a goal down next Friday then.

‘Leaders’ presumably showing they are all pretty much shit?

Corbyn has "won" this, hands down.

Johnson coming across as a useless, fumbling clown.

Almost feel sorry for him...almost.

However, despite Johnson's embarrassing ineptitude, the Great Thick British Public will ensure a Tory victory on Dec 12.

Missed Corbyn but he's being nailed over his claims around Smeeth.

As for the ridiculous notion of going to EU and trying to get a "new" deal whilst remaining "neutral", farcical.

Never change Reddy

Swinson was the big loser. Sunk without trace. Can see the LDs crashing in the polls after that.

You can see why Johnson doesn't want to do anything in public. He's rubbish at it. Absolutely awful. Skewered like a stuffed pig repeatedly. He'll take a hit on that.

Corbyn won, but he was always going to, he's better at this than they are.

He didn’t say that. He said he’d remain neutral in the subsequent campaign after whatever exit deal has been negotiated so that he’s in a position to implement whatever result is arrived at. It’s a fairly sensible position. If Cameron had taken that stance he may well still be PM now.

Anyway, Johnson was up there with Prince Andrew in the car crash stakes. Worse than Swinson.

Agree on Swinson, she was woeful. It's not like she could have been unaware what would be thrown at her, if those were the best answers she could come up with.

Didn't think Johnson was horrendous. Certainly not Obama like but handled it fairly well.

Corbyn is being absolutely skewered on social media. Smeeth, dropping Jo Cox into an unrelated issue, his view that EHRC are only looking at Labours process...

Don't think tonights "debate" has materially changed anything other than trashing Lib Dems.

Biased BBC holding the debate in a labour stronghold and the audience full of labour supporters who only ask Jeremy easy questions. No one asked him how Labour will fund the £80 billion spending spree or what happens if interest rate go up.

The only thing Jeremy confirmed is he will still sit on the fence in another EU referendum.

No sure why sturgeon was there she is not an MP and is not standing in the General Election. The SNP leader in Westminster should have been there.

Johnson is also being skewered on twitter. That’s the thing about social media, it encourages confirmation bias.

Indeed, difference being Johnson was challenged on his answers during the show - Corbyn's answer on Smeeth wasn't for some strange reason.

As I said, other than Lib Dem disaster, it won't change anything.

Quite. I'm never sure why people think their personal echo chamber is representative.

Some people still clapped him off even after that. We're at the point for many that it simply doesn't matter what is said or done, they'll ignore it all.

Only watched first half hour.appeared to be a few labour plants in the audience. May have been the same for the others. I don't know.
But never looked at these things for who wins. As I am sure there a few surprises too emerge between now and election day💩💩
