Have they really got their seats spelling out the owners name? If so, he should be banned as not fit and proper on that alone.

Glad to see the EFL finally pull their fingers out and act on something. Hopefully this discourages other clubs from cheating like Derby and Aston Villa did.

35-point deductions for Wednesday and Derby, relegating them to L1. 35-point deduction for Cardiff for not paying for Sala, relegating them to L1 as well. 35-point deduction for Villa, relegating them back to the Championship.

The only problem with automatic relegation is you put a club, probably with better players and more money, in a league where they are likely to prevent another club gaining promotion.

Sheffield Wednesday decided on Boxing Day that they would proceed in legal action against Leicester for exploiting a loophole when they signed one of their youth players without providing compensation.

They also state that they are not under a transfer embargo (hint hint, they will try and buy the PL to avoid punishment like Aston Villa successfully did).
