For me he was at fault for both, not just him but he is a 6’4” defender, that’s his territory. Ducking down isn’t his brief. As for the Bristol City goal we should have been even more aware of him in defensive situations. A number of people at fault, including the coaching staff.

Yes, as stated though this is their core job. Shouldn’t be happening.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Stamenic totally outmuscled for number 2 but Agyemang is exceptional athletically. I’m no defence expert but there must be techniques to nullify those sort of strengths even if it means leaving other less effective players unmarked?

This is what I thought. Second goal, Stamenic didn’t even attempt to make it difficult for him. He basically ducked and allowed Agyemang a free header. Not sure that Burgess is at fault there. First one arguably, but it’s a near post flick on that changes the trajectory and Brewster just reacts quickly. Goals like the first happen, the second was avoidable, or at least shouldn’t have been so easy. I’m more annoyed we didn’t lay a glove on them at the other end.

Negativity and a refusal to make positive passes forwards was the reason.

Completely agree. Need to score first against teams like that and force them out of their shape. We didn’t seem to have a plan to break them down and no one wanted to take the initiative to run at defenders. Once we start shooting from long range, you know we’ve run out of ideas.

Well Eom did but made some awful decisions when he got in the box. There needs to be mot=re if a team ethic from some of the players who should be able to assess the options in a split second and only shoot if there’s nothing else on or it’s the very best option. In some ways you can’t blame them for having a go but when it doesn’t come off the criticism flows as in this case. I noticed the same with I think Nuňes who opted to shoot rather than assess the right option. It’s not just about speed of feet it’s a lot to do with speed of thought.

We need to select players who can be expected to score or make a decent fist of it EOM is putrid as a shooter as is Ronald Two shirt wasters Add in Cullen ,loved as he’s local , loves the city , fans , and the stadium Cat and there you have it Possession but no goals

Dishing out constant criticism is fine but I do think for your own sanity you could possibly offer more balance to your posts especially when we win or play well - c'mon its not all bad is it and we dont lose every week?? Frustrating 80% of the time supporting the swans I admit but certainly not all doom & gloom as your majority of posts suggest. It would be great to get your opinion on 3 things we are getting right / good at currently?

| Any views on Burgess for the two goals on 20:07 - Feb 15 with 808 views | AnotherJohn | We did seem more vulnerable to crosses than in recent weeks. Burgess deserves some blame but Stamenic never got off the ground for the second goal. There may be a question of whether he was the ideal marker for a 6 feet 4 striker. | | | |

As indeed is coming off your line! The second goal in particular is shocking. Derby don't have anyone near Vigs, he could easily come out for the cross. But won't. Again!
