Worrying Times
at 19:55 3 Oct 2016

Of the bottom 7 clubs in the championship, 6 are ex-premier league clubs, Rotherham the only exception. That's where we are heading, you can't run the club in a fashion that would not sustain an ice cream van & expect to compete & survive in the premier league. Thank you Francesco, you deserved better & good luck Bob, let's hope you really can fix it.

League Cup Winners 2013
at 00:20 26 Jul 2016

Anyone else out there think we have taken giant leaps backwards, since the glory days of Bradford 5-0 & playing Malmo, Petrolul Ploesti, St Gallen, Kuban Krasnador, Valencia & Napoli? Instead we raving about beating Bristol Rovers. God help us. Long hard season without major investment. I know you can't live in the past, but on this forum site & every week at every game someone says look how far we have come, which is true, but look how far we are going in reverse! :'(

Deep pockets
at 18:50 24 Apr 2016

That's what these Yanks are going to need to stop us going down next year. An entertaining, pleasing on the eye side, League Cup winners 2013 to mediocre drivel week in week out. Without deep pockets or a big chq book, HMS SCFC is setting sail for the Championship. Look out scummers, we'll see you soon.

Over-rated Leicester
at 18:44 24 Apr 2016

A comment made by a large number on this website. And some of us got called what a dog wouldn't lick, for praising them after they mutilated us at the Liberty. They'll do well to lose the title now.

Professional players?
at 18:13 24 Apr 2016

Irrespective who the manager is, we rolled over & played dead. Just like Newcastle, frankly all us fans that went to either or both, should be refunded by the complete shite, that on these 2 displays are not fit to wear the shirt. It's like watching a Monk team all over. International players? At what? Tiddley winks? T*****s.

It cud be bye bye to the geordies. Gotta say very long but great trip. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't been. Great welcome, brilliant stadium, fantastic night out.
, & in Prem Lge we never lose! (Touch wood) rather them then is, but one of the best away trips you can get. Gutted for them if they go down. (except that tosser Shelvey of course)

Gylfi is god

Can anyone tell me how "Super Garry Monk" also known as Mr Blobby, picked Gylfi out of position to accomodate that useless sack of s--- shelvey? I'm taking my credit card up to St James's next week to buy all the geordies a drink for taking the useless sack of c***. Thank God he has gone.;-)

Takeover? Please god!
at 17:34 10 Apr 2016

We're a small fish in a big pond, & trying to do things on the cheap, has nearly come & bite us on the arse. I think it will be a stronger premier league next year, whoever comes up is better then the rubbish that goes down. The squad needs investment big style, without Gylfi, Ash & Fabi this year, we would be bottom 3 looking forward to the Local Derby, FACT.
It is nice that we have managed so far without having a sugar daddy possibly putting profit before fans, but the club hasn't given a flying smeg for the fans, since we came up, so what's the difference?
The only difference to me is that the guy that doesn't give a monkeys got a lot more money to invest in a more entertaining & stronger team. Right now, we're a small club, with a small time attitude & small time ambition. It is time we said stuff that & move on. People need to grow up & move on with the times. Time to say bye bye to the poundland, happy shopper, Garry Monk cos he is cheap days. & BRING IT ON or go down. Take your pick.

Our board of directors - tight fisted morons
at 18:33 23 Jan 2016

Whilst we are a small fish in a big pond, (so are Bournemouth) next season the TV money goes through the roof & to a club like ours it will be like winning the lottery. It is imperative that we stay up. I don't think anyone can deny that if we had a guy that cud guarantee you 15 goals a season, we would pull clear of the dreaded drop. Yet our board turned down the opportunity to sign Naismith & Austin, as it has already been pointed out on this site, both scored today. We are ALWAYS taking the cheap option, whilst I have fully supported the conservative approach towards transfer fees in the past, risking relegation because you don't want to spend the fees that both Naismith & Austin went for is cutting your nose off to spite your face. It's greedy & stupidity by the board. The less the club spends, the more profit it makes and therefore the more dividends the directors can pay themselves. We are always doing things on the cheap, we appointed Mok cos he was cheap, we delayed sacking him to avoid paying up his contract, we placed a magnificent servant like Alan Curtis in an impossible position, because they wanted to avoid appointing a full time manager, who we would have to buy out his contract of his current club. & now we risk it all by playing Russian roulette with our premier league future. No wonder Jenkins has been bankrupt so often, he has bounced more times then Zebedee! They need to wake up, smell the coffee, & realise that they have to speculate to accumulate, just thus once. De Guzman & Sinclair is just going backwards, & will not solve the goalscoring problem. If we go down, how many of you will think we will comeback, honestly, with all bias aside? This is the one time they need to flash the cash. How much dividends do they think they can pay themselves in the championship with a half empty stadium? Tight fisted & short sighted morons

Who needs Jamie Vardy?
at 19:47 5 Dec 2015

Leicester didn't today. Blew us away. Any Monk lovers still think we not in relegation battle? WAKE UP!!!l!!!!! 1 win 3 draws & 8 defeats. Anyone wants to keep this Muppet in a job, that's fine, just put your money where your mouth is and follow the Swans in the Championship, cos that's where we are heading BIG STYLE! Every week it gets worse. Still he can always blame the fans (again).

Monk haters, not necessarily.
at 20:01 29 Nov 2015

I don't think anyone actually hates Monk as a person, after all he is a club legend as a player & a captain. However, he is to football management what Hitler was to world peace and equal opportunities. I can't speak for anyone else, but I hate where he is taking our club, and the complete clap trap he spouts every time he is in front of a camera, just winds up people who spend hard earned cash to watch his rubbish. I mean, not in a relegation battle?, the inmates in Broadmoor or any lunitic asylum can see that this statement is complete nonsense. 1 win in 11 is abysmal at any level, just do the decent thing & go, before you do irreparable damage. Please!

Another clean sheet.....for the opposition
at 19:09 29 Nov 2015

1 win in 11 peeps! That "over-rated" Leicester & Jamie Vardy home (according to some people on planet Swans) & Man City away next. Wish we had someone over-rated in our team. 4 goals in last 6 lge games 2 against Villa(not exactly Barcelona) & 2 against Bournemouth( 2 well dodgy referring decisions). Hope u Monk lovers like Championship football, that's where your wonder boy is taking us. I'll be there if we go down, whether Mr Blobby (monk) & his supporters will be is another matter. Choice is simple lose our Premier Lge status or lose Monk

All fans are entitled to boo as well as cheer
at 13:18 22 Nov 2015

What's this nonsense about not booing your team? I've followed the Swans since I was 6, I am now 40. I go home & away, I've been to the likes of Macclesfield, Rushden & Diamonds, Lincoln, Stockport, even Carlisle on a Tuesday night. If I want to show my disgust at sub-standard performances then I will. Overpaid premier league footballers & manager's are quick enough to take the plaudits, they should be man enough to take some stick if they're not producing the goods. They'd be quick enough to complain in a restaurant if their food was cold. All fans spend a small fortune to follow the Swans & by God they're entitled to air their views whatever they maybe. Frankly since Man United, all the players & backroom staff would owe the club a small fortune, if they were on performance related pay. Over sensitive fans, players & staff should grow a pair and man up.

at 08:48 22 Nov 2015

So Mr Blobby has found a new way to try & mask his complete ineptitude, he blames the fans who pay his wages most of whom chant his name (of which I am not one). 1 win in 10, his tactics are slow, lethargic, predictable, easy to defend against & boring to watch. He only got the job cos he is cheap. His post match interviews could be sky plussed and replayed, he obviously watches a different game every week as no-one on gods earth could be that brainless. The options are clear for Huw Jenks sack monk or face relegation. As for you Mr "everyone else's fault except me", do every Swans fan a favour and p*** off!
