Charlie Webster answered the question "Who is the greatest loan deal ever?" by claiming that it was Swansea City's Rhian Brewster.

Cleverly?
at 08:00 6 Nov 2019

James Cleverley, Tory Part Chairman, was just asked on BBC Breakfast how the public could trust him and his party. He said "We want a working majority so that we can be out of Europe by 31st October."

Is it safe to trust a man who doesn't know we're well into November? His comment came in the context of an attack on Kier Starmer for being confused about things!

Cardiff came fourth. Bristol, Leeds and Southampton the others in the top four. No mention of Swansea. Any thoughts?

All this loyalty talk
at 12:28 17 Feb 2019

I am loyal to my wife and kids, I am loyal to the rule of law in my country, I try to be loyal to my friends. I am also loyal to my football club, but the loyalty is of a different order. Football is a source of aesthetic entertainment for me, with a strong emotional element of course, but I'm not sure I would rush into a burning building to save even Leon before those who consistently rely upon my loyalty.

I want The Swans to augment my emotional life, but if and when they don't do much in that regard, I have to remember that there are actually other things than football, though I surprise myself every time I realise that.

Oh, and also, I can hate the idea of Cardiff City, but I like many people who come from and support their club, so I don't really hate Cardiff, do I?

Still scum, mind.

Might seem crazy but I've just laid a bet that the top five divisions will aall be won by teams beginning with L. Odds of 40/1

Any thoughts?

Colin Harvester

Anybody know if there's a player we might come up against with this name? I've been waiting for ages so that we could start a new chant:

You've got a guy called Colin Harvester, we've got a brand new Ki ...

I am a new member, having spent the pre-season and last few weeks reading hundreds of threads on this site. Always entertaining and informative, though frequently frustrating as posters get sidetracked into petty arguments. I'm not interested in name calling but I am interested in debate. What fascinates me most, because it is extremely close to my heart, is the oxymoronic blend of triumph and trepidation, fear and joy, despair and soaring hope that afflicts the fans of our small but recently noted football club. Joy of joys, a number of Brazilians approached my son in Rio at the WC to tell him they liked the way we play! I should add that I'm afraid I may be forced to join the small band of those who fulminate at the poor spelling and grammar of a number of posters too, but hey ho.
