With the amount of members falling each year the Trust board will be the only members soon.

We need a Trust to keep The Trust in check these days.

That all sounds a bit dodgy, in the end you done something between not consulting the members (who I thought were the Trust?) and asking the members. You put a vote out that was heavily weighted in favour of "The Trust's" prefered outcome.

STILL LAUGHING AT SIGGY
at 21:46 2 Nov 2017

Makes a change, we've been mugged off so many times over the last few years.

In fact the money we mugged off from Everton - we used to get mugged off by Hull and Stoke ;)

Patrice Evra sent off before a ball was kicked

F*ck at least Cantona done it while the game was in play and it was an opposition fan!

He kicked one of his own fans in the head!

Interest rates

Ah not as much as I thought then...

I'm not sure it will be a good time to rent either though, surely landlords will deflect any mortgage rates on to their tenants?

Exactly, the vast majority of mortgages since then are fixed rate - or so I'm led to believe.

They sold about £35 millions worth of players though - so their net spend is about £15m.

Forget about the money! It was all still detrimental to the team.

They're in 8th - 2 points outside the play-offs - won their last 2 away games.

Seem to be doing alright to me?

This paragraph says it all for me...

"When once the signings of Michu, Michel Vorm, Wilfied Bony (first time around), even Angel Rangel for £15,000, were lauded, there has been the valid lambasting of a string of flops. Go back over two years and a total of £32m was spent on the catastrophic quartet of Franck Tabanou, Eder, Alberto Paloschi and Borja Baston, players who made a grand total of 13 Premier League starts. Being unlucky shouldn’t come into it."
