His mishandling of the Llorente and Gylfi transfers that summer, together with the poor signings we replaced them with finally did for our PL status.
He may or may not mismanaged his roofing business. I have no idea.
Prior to selling to tge American owners, he and the others did well.
From that episode on, sadly it has been gradually downhill all the way. |

I had trouble going up Cwm Level Road off the roundabout.
Virtually had to drive into people crossing the road.

Reflecting on today's game and have to say I think it was the most complete team performance in a long time.
Everyone got how much it mattered and I put that down to Williams.
The passion and desire to win was clear in every player.
When Cooper and Fulton came on I feared the worst.
However they all played their part and that goal at the end when we all wanted Lowe to just go and waste time in the corner capped it all.

Just read Liam’s article
I’m not a lawyer, but have a good understanding of the law and have friends who are lawyers.
.There maybe legal reasons why it was taken out, I’ve no idea but bearing in mind it was obvious it was going to be filmed it needs an explanation. I guess if lawyers at Swansea would say when something goes up on their official channel it has to be watertight legally.
In fairness everything else went in, including the ridiculous anti American insults.
Don’t think it was a protective speech, it was a boss doing what was right and going on to bat for his employer, against a hostile crowd. Something anyone woud do in this situation.
Think Coleman did say the Levian and co were the people who’d screwed up but and they can’t manage from the US which is why he’s now here and will run things. Made it clear buck stops with him.
Don’t think it’s fair to call it ‘soap box rallying ‘ and the fact that it was met with a poor response may not mean anything. May just be that their minds are made up and don’t want to listen.
Absent owners don’t work. That’s what not been acknowledged and why Coleman is here. He’s accepted the model doesn’t work, shouldn’t he have praise for that ?

Personally I think the ladies teams and youth teams should be named and financially supported by the main club ( in our case Swansea)
Likewise ( as happens now at Swansea ) they should also benefit from the professional training facilities available to the club.
To name them anything different or have them playing in a different ground devalues the team.
Imagine the kick that the ladies team get stepping out at the Swansea.Com Stadium ? |
