Who’s going to win the 2019 General Election?
at 11:52 9 Dec 2019

She may not be particularly educated in the traditional sense, but she is by no means "thick as mince". She was raised by a mother who could not read or write, left school pregnant at 16 with no qualifications and has still managed to become an MP and the shadow education secretary. You can sneer all you like, bootlicker. I'd much rather have someone with her life experience and determination in charge of education than the simpleton who was sacked from his last cabinet position for leaking confidential information.

Thick as mince? You're basing this on what exactly? Sounds like typical tory classism to me.

As part of FDR's New Deal, 3 billion trees were planted in just 9 years. Planting 2 billion in 20 is easily achievable.

OP has mugged himself off here.

Leanne Wood likens 17,410,742 UK citizens to Nazis.
at 13:22 29 May 2019

The word socialist was included in the name of the party to try to appeal to the working and lower middle classes. Do you believe the Democratic Republic of Korea is democratic? I can start calling myself Lionel Messi; it won't make me any better at football. If the Nazis were socialists, why were communists and socialists purged from the civil service, imprisoned and often killed? Why were trade unions outlawed? Why did a very small number of companies like Krupp make huge amounts of money?

This is a quote from the page you linked:

Above all, the Nazis were German white nationalists. What they stood for was the ascendancy of the “Aryan” race and the German nation, by any means necessary. Despite co-opting the name, some of the rhetoric, and even some of the precepts of socialism, Hitler and party did so with utter cynicism, and with vastly different goals. The claim that the Nazis actually were leftists or socialists in any generally accepted sense of those terms flies in the face of historical reality.

Stop embarrassing yourself.

Mums and children flee brawling thugs ...

Were you at the match? I spotted a few Builth jackets amongst the Brecon fans.

I agree about the ref. He let too much slide and lost control of the match. By the end, it seemed that every breakdown resulted in a scrap.

It's a long shot, but a friend who lives in London can now make it. Does anyone have a spare ticket we can buy? Can meet outside the ground

Corbyn shot by British Army
at 16:40 3 Apr 2019

There is no defending this, especially in today's political climate. The armed forces are supposed to be apolitical. Let's not forget that Jo Cox was murdered by a far-right extremist less than 3 years ago or that Darren Osborne intended to kill Corbyn when he drove from Cardiff to Islington and ran over an innocent Muslim man. We have the media and certain politicians constantly smearing Corbyn as an antisemite and a danger to the country. Even at PMQs today, the odious Caroline Johnson referred to Corbyn as an antisemite. May did not disagree. I genuinely worry for his safety. If you dislike his policies, that's fine. By all means challenge him on the issues. This unhinged 2 minutes hate has to stop, though.

An Independent Wales but stay in the EU???

"But you have a Swansea Labour MP, that his constituency voted to leave in the Brexit referendumn and in every vote at Westminster. He has voted against the wishes of his own constituency"

Swansea West almost certainly voted remain. Stop making things up.

Absolutely disgusting language from the OP.

"it's inbred in these scum people"

If he had made this remark about any other ethnic group, he'd be banned without a second thought. The behaviour of the family in question is disgusting, but that in no way excuses the bigotry of the OP.

The same Jenny Chapman who took part in the disastrous coup of 2016 and was a vice-chair of Progress? Forgive me for taking anything she says with a pinch of salt.

What a load of drivel. Your partisanship is becoming increasingly tedious. This coming from someone who wants to see an independent Wales in the medium to long term. As Pego has pointed out, the numbers simply didn't add up for Corbyn to table a no confidence vote. The tories want to avoid a general election and would have backed May as they fear a Corbyn led government. It's clear that the Lib Dems, the tory remainers, SNP, Plaid and the Greens were playing politics as they knew that May would have won the vote. They wanted to put a stop to the possibility of a general election thus forcing Labour to back a referendum on the final deal. Their motives were so transparent.

A question for our Welsh Nationalists
at 14:09 12 Nov 2018

I don't know. I've been trying to find out but can't find a definitive answer anywhere. I always assumed it's because of time constraints and the fact that they work together in Parliament.

Plaid and the SNP are only allowed to lay one wreath between them so they take it in turns. Liz Saville-Roberts was in attendance representing Plaid.

Hypocrite. On the Welsh independence thread, you replied to the following post with the words "spot on":

"Swansea City Fans For Independence on 10:50 - Oct 10 by PozuelosSideys

Kindly keep this independence shite away from the Club please. Its divisive, unwanted by the majority and almost cynical in the way youre attempting to make out the club backs it when in fact its you and a couple of your noisy bigoted mates"

This Lads' Alliance bullsh*t is divisive, unwanted by the majority and almost cynical in the way they're attempting to make out that significant portions of the fanbase back it when in fact it's just a couple of dimwitted racists. But I suppose that doesn't matter because you happen to agree with them.

So there is anti-Semitism in the Labour Party then?
at 12:11 31 Aug 2018

Birkenhead CLP recently passed a motion of no confidence in Frank Field following his decision to prop up the Tory government by voting with them on the Brexit trade bill. He's opted to jump before being pushed and he's trying to spin it into an antisemitism issue. It's so transparent.

Wales squad to face Ireland and Denmark
at 16:03 29 Aug 2018

I'm a little disappointed not to see Rodon in the squad but his time will certainly come. I don't think Dummett should have been given another opportunity after he threw his toys out of the pram and refused to play for us. It's a pretty exciting squad otherwise with plenty of youth.

HRK has retired from international duty. He may not have been the most gifted of players but he gave always worked hard and scored some very important goals for us.
