The manager lacks any offensive ideas. Our strikers and a lot of our defence could do a job but the manager has no idea how to get our midfielders into positions to either cross into a box full of bodies or pass and move so a striker can shoot inside the box.
Clement has to go. |

We only have one person who can score goals, Abraham. How are we trying to get the ball to him to score?
Are we playing with wingers or wing backs to get crosses in to him in the box?
Do we try and play through the middle tikki takka football around the box?
Do we play counter attack Leicester style?
Do we try and get the ball to Ayew to thread a ball through for him?
How is Clement setting out the team to attack? |

If you consider that our back 4 is pretty solid and we have a reliable keeper, plus we have a quality striker who will score goals if he gets the service then there aren't that many other positions to fill. Ki to start in the role you describe only leaves 4 positions to fill, from which we have a surplus of midfielders to choose from.
We need a new manager with a new way of playing. |

Clucas has to hold as a DM if we are playing 3 CB's, we have to get the wingers bombing forward with Clucas as the cover. It's Naughton and Olsson who need to get involved attacking more, plus we then need the other 2 midfielders Fer and Carroll to get in the box with Bony and Ayew. My opinion is that it has nothing to do with Clucas the way we are abysmal at going forward. |

Agreed.
Disagree with the negative comments about Sanches from other people. He has been looking for a creative through ball a lot, okay they haven't come off but at least he is having a go. I think he is looking good, so is Mesa. He isn't dominating the game but passing to a Swans player when he gets it and keeping the move going. |

I would go as far as to say that instead of needing a new starting right back, we only need cover for that position now. I think Naughton did well at the end of last season and has started strongly this season. Resources need to be spent elsewhere now. |

I think Llorente will be the bigger miss. We put hopeful crosses in the box and Llorente beat most defenders in the air to score. He was a monster.
Today, crosses in the box were snuffed out. |

Naughton did well. Deserves credit, posters were quick to criticise when he didn't play well last season. |
