The Head of the OBR has resigned due to an error by a Junior colleague. He has honourably accepted ultimate responsibility for causing the Government embarrassment. Will Lammy resign, thus accepting ultimate responsibility? To answer my own question, probably not. He is a politician and normal rules of behaviour don't apply. |

It's only that I am of that generation. It doesn't take away from his magnificent record and affinity to West Ham. Would such a record be equalled or beaten today? Somehow I doubt it but thereagain I stand to be corrected. |

Signed for West Ham from Charlton Athletic, I believe. |

BTW OHL Carre is not only fat but he can't tackle. The difference in athleticism and physique between the two sets of props is very noticeable. Finally, when will the Welsh players learn the Laws of the Game? |

Don't speak too soon. Remember 1981! |

As far as areas such as Ashleigh Road are concerned. One very good suggestion made last night was that the FAW should take them over and turn them into community football hubs, using the income generated from permit fees etc to improve the facilities and playing surfaces. It seems that the current providers like Swansea City Council take the money but don't do anything to improve the facilities/pitches. Obviously this has huge financial implications, but finance is at the heart of it all. |

Participation in football in Wales at all levels and abilities is actually increasing. However it is recognised that there is some dropping off in the 13+ age groups, as you mention. The FAW/WWFA recognise this and are looking for ways to turn it around. That was discussed at last night's Event. It was a very positive meeting and the FAW intend reporting back on strategies by next March. |

Attended an FAW/WWFA Strategy Engagement Event at the .com last night. The difference in attitude, ambition and inclusiveness between the Governing bodies of Football and Rugby Union in Wales is startling. |

That guy at full back is hopeless under a high ball. I guess the ABs have worked that out. |

It's not just that salary, it's that of their deputies and administrative staff. A complete and unnecessary drain on resources that should go to front line policing. A move welcomed by the Police Federation. Common sense at last. |

OHL I think you are quite right about the physicality and fitness of the Welsh props in particular. But it's also a matter of technique, something which has to be sorted out. Hopefully Duncan Jones will have some influence on that. As far as those 'pundits' and social media users who propose the return of Martin and Rodgers are concerned, I think they are living in a parallel universe. The Club needs to move forward not revisit the past. |

It is more likely that Henry Tudor (Henry VII) had Edward IV's sons (the Princes in the Tower) killed. The belief that Richard III was responsible stems from Elizabethan propaganda, and promoted by William Shakespeare. |
