Yes he had a great game against Charlton, but for God's sake he is not a winger.
Get someone out wide who can attack the full back and put a ball in on their left foot. Leave Celina to play slide rule passes from CAM and use his talent to create.
At the minute we have a right footer on the left and a left footer on the right. Everything goes inside and teams just suffocate us with numbers.
Use our players' in the positions that gets the best out of them. |

Whilst I am basking in the glow of a well deserved win, I was wondering if anyone could shed light on these two gripes:
1. Why don't we use multi-ball/get more ball boys? It seems very easy for away teams to waste time waiting for the ball every time it goes out of play.
2. Who's bright idea is it to pipe crowd noise through the speakers? Very tin pot. |

2 and a half games with roughly the same formation and roughly the same personnel: 9 goals scored 1 conceded.
Seems like the tinkering may be paying off. |

Watching the highlights it just struck me that both goals started with the goal keeper. Not only did we work both gorgeously up the pitch, but the pace we did so at was really refreshing.

Full of energy, closed down everything, and got forward at the right times to contribute to two of the goals.

After another fantastic performance we easily dominated away from home. But for me the biggest positive was not the ease with which we dominated but that, despite how easy it was, going into the last 10 minutes we STILL had 4/5 runners going forward. Not only that but whenever we'd lose the ball every single player would bust a gut to get back in position and win the ball back.
It would have been natural for some players to relax at 2-0 but even after 3 games in 6 days we had players like Michu running the length of the pitch to track back in the 89th minute then turning around and making a forward run into the box.
Its partly the attitude of the players and partly the competition for places we have but at the moment every player wants to be playing 90 minutes every week. The hunger in this team is incredible  |
