In a groundbreaking decision earlier today, the Supreme Court of Queensland has ruled that vaccine mandates were unlawful and that the Queensland Police Commissioner, Katrina Carroll, had violated the rights of QPS workers. Justice Glenn Martin’s 115 page decision refers to Section 58 of the Human Rights Act (HRA), which requires a public entity to consider human rights, and make decisions that are compatible with human rights. On the question: “Did the directions limit any of the rights identified in the HRA?”, the Judge said: “I have held that the Commissioner, in making the decisions the subject of contention, failed to give proper consideration to human rights relevant to those decisions. AS A RESULT, THOSE DECISIONS WERE UNLAWFUL.” The Judge also ruled that mandate directions made by John Wakefield, the Director General of Queensland Health, mandating Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) workers be vaccinated were also unlawful and “of no effect”. The Supreme Court ruling is a huge vindication for all those who fought against these unjust and draconian mandates. They set up a contentious battleground in Queensland, that split friends, families and caused people to lose their jobs. The decision now lays the roadmap for unvaccinated QPS and QAS employees to seek redress and compensation for all the adverse impacts they suffered, of which job loss is just one. No doubt many other workers will be looking to launch their own legal challenges in the wake of the court’s landmark ruling. The case sets a clear precedent on which the legality of ALL mandates imposed on workers will now be judged. One that I’m sure is sending shivers up the spines of the current government and its bureaucratic henchmen. After all, if mandates were “unlawful” for QPS and QAS workers, surely they must be considered “unlawful” for ALL public sector workers. Congratulations to the dozens of QPS and QAS workers who stayed strong and challenged the government mandates, and well done to Sibley Lawyers, who took the case on when many, many other lawyers in the state refused to do so. All will be remembered as having stood on the ‘right side of history’ when it came to this important Human Rights issue.
Just watched it and to me this is the most impactful excerpt from the entire interview and perfectly summarizes the insanity of the current US foreign policy.
“Do the United States need this? What for? Thousands of miles away from your national territory. Don’t you have anything better to do?
You have issues on the border. Issues with migration. Issues with the national debt. More than 33 trillion dollars. You have nothing better to do, so you should fight with Ukraine?
Wouldn’t it be better to negotiate with Russia?”
Putin is correct. The US should be concerned with their own issues and not funding wars on the other side of the planet. Sounds kind of like “America First”.
3 times a day for the rest of your life you'll need the help of a farmer. once a month maybe once a quarter we see a doctor or a dentist. Never forget they are a very important part of the system of life
Left the corrupt lying MSM and just aired his first journo show on Twitter. 110 million views and counting. Move over MSM the mass awakening continues to gain speed.
What is everybody's thoughts on the secret army being smuggled into the UK under the guise of refugee's? Boatfull's of young fighting aged men crossing the channel on a daily basis and being put up in hotels paid for by the citizens. if the government wanted to they could put an end to it tomorrow but they don't, so what is the reason why? Are they being brought in to police future lockdowns? We all know they are trying to bring in 15 minute cities and man made future pandemics are on the horizon (they've already told us) and knowing the British army are not likely go around kicking doors in of their own people. Then maybe the secret army are being brought in for this reason.
Whatever the reason it is not going to be a good thing
We know they are coming in 2024. (on trial) Oxford in particular. Cities will be divided into zones confining residents to remain in their zones. You will be allowed 100 days per year to leave your zone. In order to leave you will need to get permission from the council. Cars will be registered and travel will then be tracked by smart cameras some of which were rolled out throughout covid lockdowns.
Is this something that appeals to you? Will you comply?
This movement seems to be growing back in Blighty, don't want to start a war into the should we shouldn't we debate. Not living in Wales or the UK for that matter I'd be interested to hear what the benefits are to those living in Wales? Currently it is not something I would support as I'm a proud Brit and a proud welshman. But that doesn't mean I'm not open to change. My biggest concern is where would that leave the Swans, would we still be able to play in the current format or would we have to revert back to league of Wales, if the latter then that alone would convince me not to support it.
Did anybody on here go to any of the recent events put on prior and post Sunderland game? Not much mention on here, do we have many exiles around the world on here?
