according to the chairman we are expecting the biggest sponsorship deal this season ( if/ when it arrives) that could help maybe?
My concern is the players we have , all under long term contracts that are attracting , well agents attracting a bigger payday have not been sold "the dream" or have they? i know we have to stay within the rules but with other clubs with bigger purse strings supposedly looking, the owners chairman and the manager have to pull together to keep what we have or be a mid table or worse side next season, that for me is why we need a top D O F in not , with all due respect a part time negotiator |

You have to agree its gone quiet re Galbraith so something must have gone on, any news on a D O F Keith this to me is the most important appointment that needs to be completed well before the window opens and only 14 days to go now? |

All gone quiet re Galbraith, and still nothing re D O F, with the "window"opening within appox 2 weeks would have thought things would be done by now, the feel good factor seems to have flown out the window,
I would like to think we have a top guy in Matos and wonder how long we will keep him if things are not put in place to assist him and his coaching team to give the squad more of a chance to finish in the top 8 next season |

Cantwell would be a no for me ,
the lad Bobby Wales did not set the world on fire at Hudesfield and could not break into our squad either so do we loan, sell or try him again?
with the "window" due to open on the 15th a few days from now am hoping against hope the current owners have their fingers on the button re new D O F and our chairman can just over sea the day to day running of the club and not as it is as i write him doing everything like Watson, and we all know how that turned out |

this is where the owners the manager and if we get one the D O F along with the chairman must sell the dream to our current group and any new incomers, thats why a top d o f MUST be brought in to be sold the dream themselves whoever it is and to be able to pass on that dream,
keep what we have ( those the manager can work with) and add to it, the problem is unless we get more investment sponsership and shirt sales etc we are working within a legal budget what ever these new regs are |

if this is a power struggle the owners need to step in and sort, thought we had a fair team with worth so what on earth is going on ? he leaves for what ever reason not replaced and there is no sign of the promised D O F
why is it EVERY close season we have a drama ?
If the people at the top WANT to get to the promised land they must sort this mess out and quickly , or are they just like our last owners ? time will tell but not a good look at the moment |

for me as the efl are in control and if they want to send a clear message, kick souithampton out WITH a 15 point deduction next season the game moved to next wednesday,
with the unknown if the prem would inforce a points deduction or not and the money southampton would get should they win for me removes a fine as would not hurt them, but honestly cannot see my suggestion happening |

well this seems a little worrying, with all the good work that has and is going on since Matos has come in not to be ruined by off the field politics, early days i know but dont spoil the feel good that was at the end of the season at the club, this is when top leaders come to the fore and its looking like the owners need to get a little more hands on at the moment |

while watching hearts/ rangers game yesterday noticed that the commentater said both clubs had prospective new players in the crowd and picked out one or two, wonder how long its going to be who our new D O F will be and when he will be with us,? as time is marching on and other clubs will be after some of the guys we are after as well |

For me this next window will show what to hopefully expect, we do not have a bottonless pit of cash to spend and have to stay within the rules or face a points deduction, the things are can we keep Galbraith and Vip to name just 2 and bring in what i thought after our managers words in last few weeks quality and depth of that quality, We have seen the quality AND depth Coventry , boro and ipswich and southampton have, add to that next season Burnly Wolves and possibly Spurs which will make it even harder to get to the play offs without the depth and quality, but lets wait and see what the summer brings |

yes agree and for me the big differance is the depth and (with no disrespect) the quality those 3 teams can bring on from the bench when needed, the out and out best team this season Coventry are the only team in my opinion who totally out played us over 90 mins in the last run of games, but 1 point from 9 does not look good and its the fine margins that could have made 6 from 9 |
