Swans TV Over Summer
at 14:44 30 May 2023

I've been paying monthly for the international streaming pass. Silly me - I assumed that they'd stop taking payments now that the season's over but they've just taken £25 for the next month.

Has this happened to anyone else? Don't know if there's any chance to get it refunded.

Some interesting changes.

Looking forward to "leave the field at the nearest point" and "uncontested drop ball to the team in possession at the point the game was stopped". The "goal kick not needing to leave the box" should help us as well as Liverpool and Man City.

Arsenal just undone by a corner to the back post. Sound familiar?

Swans TV Camerawork
at 18:03 22 Apr 2019

I know people have raised this issue before but I thought it deserved its own thread today because the camerawork was dire.

I don’t know who’s in charge of the camera or whether it’s the same people home and away but today it seemed like it was operated by a 10-year old who’d never watched football before. Zooming in to the corner flag, zooming into the linesman, not focusing on substitutions, ignoring players being treated for injury, etc.

Any idea who we’d complain to at the club? It’s not like it’s cheap to watch.

Any suggestions as to why we failed miserably to do that yesterday, whereas we've done it against better teams including Man City?

Football Finances

I've read two stories today about clubs losing money. Wolves lost £1m a week during their promotion season
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47453599
and Derby County's owner is allegedly losing £3m a month

Bonkers.

Routledge And Dyer
at 22:22 31 Jan 2019

So there was me thinking, when they were talking about offloading players, that they meant the likes of Routledge and Dyer (as well as the obvious Bony and Narsingh).

Never thought it would be Fer and (both of) Montero, James.

Do us a favour, ref
at 21:19 7 May 2018

Am I right in thinking we've only had one penalty this season (v. West Ham when we didn't need it) and no players sent off against us (in the PL)? Would be nice if one of those things could happen tomorrow.

Anyone know who the ref is?

So, there we are, this is the scoreline after 70mins. What do you do, Carlos? Do you put all the meat on the BBQ, or keep some sausages back for Sunday?

My understanding was that JA would miss Spurs, Man U and WBA.

Why does

say that his ban ends on 31/3 ?

Am I missing something?

I didn't hear why Bony was taken off. Anybody know? Maybe he'll miss the international break.

Leon was holding his hamstring.

Olsson?

At least they have a fortnight to get back.

Free £7 Now TV 1-day Sky Sports Pass

Saw this on Martin Lewis' website. You have to claim it tomorrow (Thurs 20th July) but you can use it any time in the next 12 months.

http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/now-tv#deal38473

Don't know if you have to claim it via the link in this article. Don't have to use for football, obvs. The only bit that bothers me slightly is having to give payment card details.
