How can a management team watch that first half and decide no changes were needed at half time?
It’s no wonder there is no fight or desire in the team, the first team no their places are guaranteed.
Would have been an ideal scenario to bring on Myko and give him a good run to show what he can do. We know what Yates can do, Fulton offers nothing and should be nowhere near the team. What are we as fans not seeing that the management team see? |

He's obviously fantastic ball player, but lacks pace and is dropping to deep for our and Duff's liking to get on the ball.
We have a glaring weakness in that our 3 centre halves can't pass between them.
Would it be worth playing Grimes in the middle of Cabango and Nathan, freeing up the midfield for someone like Patino to inject the pace into midfield?
I think Potter used him as CB or was it Lb a few times so it's won't be totally alien to him [Post edited 14 Aug 2023 9:26]

Just read that Ross Barkley is interesting Middlesborough who are looking at bringing him in on a free.
Played 27 games in France last year, 4 goals 2 assists. Is 29 and certainly shown to have the ability before. Surely we could match boro for wages?
Or whisper it quietly, there is an old fan favourite who takes a mean set piece available after his case has ended |

Is it too much in your opinion?
Is there a better way to stop time wasting?
Personally i'd go to the rugby way of doing it and stop the clock for stoppages. Also enforce the 6 second rule for goalkeepers |

Of all the new laws for this season i think this one is going to cause mayhem, mainly because fans won't know the law has changed. However it is bonkers, this will cost teams goals this season
In line with Ifab guidance, after play is restarted while an injured player is being treated they will not be able to return to the pitch until at least 30 seconds has elapsed. That period could be extended if play is in the vicinity of the player looking to re-enter the pitch.
"Not only does he need to leave the pitch through no fault of his own - which is a stupid rule in itself - he now needs to wait 30 seconds on the side of the pitch before coming back on," Holden added. |

On a scale of 1-10 how excited are you about this new season.
Personally i can't wait for Saturday, although out of the country for 4 months of the start.
The squad seems to me to be the strongest in depth minus LB that we've had for a while, our starting 11 currently is very good and we have a pragmatic manager who will play football but not at the detriment of results.
I know we will end up losing Piroe but hopefully he can start off well and ensure we start off well and then when he goes we will hopefully have a replacement lined up for him.
