What is going on?....are we seriously looking at imploding as going back to the "Swansea Way". We are going to end up with just 1 center back and god knows what else. The Owners gave the statement that they messed up last year with transfers....so its over to the manager...yeah right...with no money to spend. Its a shambles. After such a bright start a real downer...not looking good.
How about just thinking before slagging of supporters who didn't attend the game last night. There are many Swans who have supported the club for many years and are season ticket holders that now live away from Swansea (and Wales) and cover considerable distances to support the team. Travelling every weekend to home and away games takes time and money so sometimes midweek games are very difficult. I do speak from experience living in Carlisle and go to nearly all the games and in my 50th year since my first Swans game and supporting the Club. There are much more bigger issues with our club at the moment and sniping isn't needed more solidarity., trying to get those that are despondent back would be a good start. I hate seeing our club in the state it is in and it brings back painful memories....and I wish I had answers that I could post....I dont. But I will continue to support my team whatever and hope that some sense prevails and if there are rifts in the club or mismanaged positions sort it out...the fans, city and players deserve it ( although some players I do despair with). COYS.
Well that's us into the last few days of the transfer window. Like most of you I was just hoping this year maybe we would get some good signings in ad keep hold of players we wanted. OK...Siggy I sort of expected...I Like Messa and I do think Clucas will be a good player but was it really a good deal with a player swap?...not sure about that. Now it's being touted that Llorente may go to Chelsea typically last minute with no chance of a replacement. I think that Paul Clement must be a frustrated as anyone with the lack of movement....or the speed of movement the other way. Being honest we are not going to get the like of Sanches when other top flight clubs would snap him up but Chadli...Bony I would have though could have been achievable. I have always stood by the board I guess out of loyalty from past deeds but theses days I find myself looking down the barrel of modern football and all the greed it brings with it.
Anyway YJB's....hope you had a good bank holiday......grim up North as usual!
Algeria international Ryad Boudebouz has arrived in Seville ahead of a move to Real Betis, reports AS. The 27-year-old midfielder is closing in on a transfer to Betis after the La Liga club agreed a deal with Montpelier. Boudebouz will undergo a medical before signing a four-year deal with Betis.
Met some of the guys from the Everton Fans Forum chaps before the game and they mentioned that they had set up a Just Giving page for the flood victims in Carlisle to be handed over on Sunday at the FA Cup tie. living in Carlisle I thought that was a really nice touch and living up to their "Peoples Club" claim..........Fair play nice to see what they said was a football community.
37 seater booked from Carlisle with 9 travelling from Swansea to join us. Carlisle Jacks supporters club (unofficial) swelling. Got just two spare seats if anyone in Cumbria is interested. Russell Coughlin on board again......well tidy!
Any Jacks in Cumbria or the borders..........29 Seater coach leaving the Coach and Horses in Carlisle......couple of seat left if anyone is interested. Leaving at 1000 back around 9ish to a karaoke and buffet at the Coach pub stops on the way and back...........
Ok……bollocks to the plaudits we should have at the very least drawn this game. I have followed the Swan thick and thin over 40 years…Gary Monk is a legend …but for me we got it well wrong tonight. Tendalli….no way….other changes …..Okay I saw the logic. No I’m not a professional football player or manager but I’m totally passionate about my team. Why o’ why did routs come off? He was making good inroads and linking well with Wilf and Pablo… • Tendalli off..Rangel on • Marvin( who Played well) and Nathan on Width and defence at least a draw. Sick of people telling me how well we did because it was Napoli…bollocks could have equalled or beat them. Really gutted and I know I’m going to get pelters about the premiership and whatever but from league 2 up those that have been behind the Jacks….common got to be gutted …at least a wee bit! Whatever rant over…see you Sunday YJB!
