Saints begin the build up to a busy 10 day period starting with the visit of Brighton & Hove Albion.

After making a perfect start to the month of November Saints have the chance to maintain their momentum and increase the lead at the top of the divison with a run of two home games and an away trip sandwiched in between which could see our place at teh top of the division further cemented.

The aim for the team should be to keep this gap between ourselves and third place, in general if losing one game doesnt drop you out of the automatic promotion spots then you are doing well, to see that gap actually be more than two defeats is even better and we just need to keep our good run going and keep banging away and getting points on the table.

Saints now need to have a belief about themselves and so do the supporters, if we maintain the standards we have set ourselves then there is no reason why we shouldnt continue to maintain this gap and indeed increase it further.

There's no doubt about it we are the best team in this division.. at the moment. That's no throw away statement. All of our critics have been somewhat silenced by the fact we now beaten West Ham, Middlesborough and Birmingham, as well picking up useful points away from home at Reading and Derby. We play the most attractive (and points rewarding) football, have sound financial backing and great prospects coming up from the youth team. Our biggest problem will be maintaining these positives when we resume from the break. Adkins will need to keep the team focussed and Cortese will need to prepare for the next window and make some sound choices for where we're going at the halfway point. It'll be a huge team effort from the players to the fans.
