Rundle due back Monday
Rundle due back Monday
Thursday, 17th Dec 2009 16:53

It's expected that Adam Rundle will return to Spotland from his loan spell at Rotherham after this weekend's games, prompting questions over the future of Jason Taylor.

Millers manager Ronnie Moore has been talking to BBC Sheffield on Thursday, and has indicated that he will not be looking to extend the loan deal of Adam Rundle. Rundle's time at Rotherham hasn't been a spectacular success, due in part to being played out of position on the right hand side.

Which brings up the question of our own loanee Jason Taylor. Taylor has been a massive success at Spotland, with Dale picking up five wins from five games during his time at Spotland.

It is believed that Dale are keen to retain the services of Taylor. Past history would suggest that Taylor has no future at Rotherham - he has played in just two League games for them this season, and has yet to feature under Ronnie Moore.

However, with Dale riding high in League Two, it has not gone unnoticed in South Yorkshire that our ascent to the top has happened with Taylor in the side, and Moore will be under pressure to not help out a side seen as a promotion rival.
