There will be no charges brought against Graeme Jones following the Bristol Rovers incident

Jones was questioned by police over an incident which bloodied Rovers' Danny Coles' face after he was involved in an altercation with Febian Brandy which led to the Man Utd striker being shown a straight red card.

However, Coles was keen the following morning not to press charges against Jones and the matter now appears to be closed with Avon & Somerset Police.

Avon and Somerset force released a statement which said: "Further statements have been obtained in line with normal practice.

"The police investigation has now finished and no further action will be taken. Both football clubs have been fully co-operative during the investigation and are supportive of the outcome."
