The Swans entertain Bournemouth at the Liberty tomorrow - promotion could be secure by 5pm

A victory at home to troubled Bournemouth if combined with a defeat for Doncaster at Huddersfield will secure a top two berth for the Swans and see the magical "P" go next to their name on all the league tables.   In truth, a point for Doncaster would probably not be good enough for them to be able to catch us but mathematically it would be possible so let's hope for two home wins.   And not only would a home win for the Swans potentially secure promotion it would also equal the club record points tally for a season - 85 with five games left to play.

A big crowd of around 16,000 are expected at the Liberty Stadium to hopefully celebrate what will be a glorious success but the reality is from here it is very much a case of when - rather than if - the Swans seal their season's goal.

And as they prepare to say goodbye to League One, these are worrying times for their opponents - Bournemouth - who are faced with total extinction after a takeover of the troubled club hit the ropes leaving them potentially facing the abyss.  Already deducted ten points, relegation will be confirmed for the Cherries almost certainly in the next seven days although that is potentially the best they can hope for with their very future at risk from an almost immediate closure.

There has been much good news for Roberto this week as Febian Brandy returns from suspension whilst both Paul Anderson and Andrea Orlandi are in contention for a place in the squad although none of the trio is expected to feature in the starting line up which is very likely to be the one that started against Hartlepool last weekend.

Jason Scotland goes in search for his 30th goal of the season and his 6th successive scoring game tomorrow - closing him in on another club record of successive scoring matches.

Bournemouth are without Danny Hollands (calf), while fellow midfielder Marvin Bartley (knee) is extremely doubtful.

Jo Kuffour is back after compassionate leave while Warren Cummings, Ryan Garry and Darren Anderton are fit again.

Prediction wise it is hard to see anything tomorrow bar a Swansea win.   The lure of promotion is strong and you would take an assumption that the Swans would rather seal it at the Liberty than on their travels at either Carlisle or Gillingham.   All they can do is to keep their side of the bargain and I cannot see anything other than a relatively easy victory.  3-0 to the Swans.

Paddy Power says: This has Swansea win written all over it and that is reflected in the odds that we have on offer for the game - you can back the Swans at 4-9 on whilst the draw is 11-4 and the away victory very much a longshot at 11-2.  There could be money to be had in the correct score betting - 3-0 Swans is 9-1, 4-0 at 20-1 and 5-0 at 40-1.  You can view the full range of markets we have available on this game by clicking here

Ladies and gents, this time tomorrow we could be a Championship football club.  How good does that sound?
