Home > Story Index >On Your Bike

How many of you ride a pushbike to work or use an exercise bike in the gym? Well if you interested in competing in a charity cycle challenge then read on

On Sunday April 27th the Royal Mail Community Action team are holding a challenge between several teams. We as Swansea city supporters have been asked to enter a team. Each team is to comprise of six people. All of which will take it in turns to ride an exercise bike for five to ten minutes at a time until all have had a go, for a duration of six hours. The two team's that ride the furthest (during the six hours) will win. 1st & 2nd prize is 25% of all sponsorship money raised, which in turn will go to the winning teams nominated charities and the remaining 50% of the sponsor money will be donated to The Children Burns unit in Morriston. But don't be fooled, as although this event is a fun thing it has also generated some competition. The royal mail has entered a cycle team and I am appealing for people who are willing to give it a go. This event is open, not just you men, but women as well. So if anyone out there is interested or knows someone that may be interested then please phone me on 07880518601 or e-mail at c.d.hannan@ntlworld.com
