The Never Ending Job

I hate cutting the grass at home. Plain and simple. There are some things that I will happily do around the house but cutting the grass comes in amongst the least enjoyable of them.

Luckily for me I only have a small amount of grass anyway, certainly nowhere near the size of a football pitch. But on that basis I certainly do feel for the poor guy who at the moment has to cut the grass at White Rock.

Modern state of the art stadia it may be but with the grass seed starting to grow (as seen in the pictures taken by Chris Jones) it can only be cut at the moment by hand with machinery not allowed near it at this moment in time.

In addition to this, seats behind the goal in the away supporters section have been amended to allow them to show the name 'Ospreys' - believed to be done to keep our neighbours in Neath happy, With the Celtic League champions due to play many games at the stadium next season, the Ospreys have paid for the change in the seating themselves.

Swans vice-chairman Leigh Dineen announced at the fan's forum in Morriston tonight the pricing structure for the new stadium. Seats in the East Stand will be £15, West Stand £17 and behind the goal £12. There will be 12 match season tickets and full season tickets for the East Stand are expected to cost around £310 each.
