O'Leary is Swansea's current longest serving player in his 11th season; he was converted back to a central midfielder in Jackett's first season in 2004, after years of playing in defence where he was quite inconsistent and at times he didn't look comfortable.
Kris was voted player of the year in our promotion season from League 2 in 2004/05 that urged the club to give KOL a two year deal, after apparent interest from other clubs.
Last season was frustrating for Kristian as he only played 22 games in League 1, this was due to injuries and two sendings off, we didn't lose many games when he played and lack his presence at times in midfield last season. O'Leary will be wanting to play more often next season (with our injuries he probably will) in our promotion bid.
