Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins dismisses reports linking Roberto with a role at Old Trafford

The Swans chief gave short change to newspaper stories that surfaced yesterday suggesting that Roberto could be a target for Man Utd as they look to replace Carlos Quieroz who is Portugal bound.

The Sunday Times linked Roberto and Simons Davey and Grayson with the role although it seems almost certain that former Man Utd striker Brian McClair will make the step up to assist the multiple Premiership winner.

Jenkins told the Evening Post "It's nonsense

"We haven't heard anything and I know for a fact there's nothing in these stories."

Just as we predicted there wouldn't be.
