Kris O'Leary says that West Brom will provide a good benchmark for the Swans and their chances for next season

West Brom are the visitors to the Liberty Stadium next weekend when O'Leary will celebrate his testimonial in front of what he hopes will be a sizeable crowd at the Liberty Stadium.

And with Albion being the current Championship holders, O'Leary believes that it will be a good test for the Swans ahead of their league campaign that will be just one week away by the time the game arrives.

The Swans head to Charlton the following Saturday to begin that campaign and with the season that close it will be a competitive game with West Brom expected to field pretty much a full strength side against the Swans.

O'Leary said "It will be a real test for us.  They were the best side in the division last season so it will be good to see how far we have progressed and what we still need to do.

"We're striving to be a strong side in the Championship and we see this as a chance to impose ourselves against a strong unit.  It's only a week before we play our opener at Charlton so it will be very competitive."

Tickets for the match are still available from the Liberty Stadium and are priced at £15 for adults; £7.50 for concessions (full time student, senior citizens, disabled and children under-16)

Family bundles are also available at £25 for one adult and two children costing; £40 for two adults and two children.

The match will take place on Saturday August 2 with a 3pm kick off
