Plymouth manager Paul Sturrock was not holding back on his disappointment after the Swans won at Home Park

Sturrock was not a happy man after seeing his team beaten quite comfortably by the Swans - more comfortably than the 1-0 scoreline suggests.

Jason Scotland's goal was the only strike of the game but that did not tell the whole story as the Swans worked harder than Plymouth and had the lion share of both quality posession and shots at goal.   Dorus De Vries was almost a passenger as the Swans recorded their second Championship win of the season to move themselves up to 7th place in the early season table.

And speaking after the game, the Plymouth manager said "If you don't keep the ball when you have possession and give it away as much as we did to a team like Swansea, exactly what happened today will happen.

"I worry about my team's belief. We knew it was going to be hard, and it's going to be harder.

"That was probably the poorest performance I've had for a long time from a team."

The result leaves Plymouth with just one point from their opening three games.
