It Was A Foul Says De Vries Sunday, 24th Aug 2008 21:20 Dorus De Vries claims Andy D'Urso was right to blow for a foul at Home Park yesterday It seems to have become the main talking point of a game that the Swans won to move into 7th place in the Championship. The referee blew for a foul as the corner came in and immediately ruled out the resulting header that Plymouth thought had given them an equaliser. It seemed a generous decision towards Swansea but the keeper claims that it was the right decision and he told the Evening Post "There was a foul on me, I was pushed in the back as the corner came in. I went down and the ref blew up straightaway. ''I'm not sure if there was a foul somewhere else, but it was a great call by the ref because it was in a packed area.'' "It's a tough place to come as they have a lot of experience in the Championship ''I was very pleased in getting a clean sheet. As a keeper, it's such a big confidence lift to come away with a clean sheet and a victory. ''We knew they were going to be putting the ball in the air. That's the way they play. It's not the way I would play, but we dealt with it well. ''We were aware of Rory Fallon as the boys know a lot about him, and we focused on that. ''This is what this season is going to be about. We have already faced teams that play a different style and we have done great so far. ''We have six points from three games and that is a very good start. ''There is a lot of talent in this group and there will be a lot of pressure coming our way. ''But if we win games like this then it will help us achieve our targets. I can't wait until the next game now. Everyone in the squad is buzzing with excitement.'' Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
