Ipswich Set To Rise Up Table....?

Ipswich Town will rise up the Championship table - at least that is the view from inside Portman Road anyway.

Ipswich currently sit in 17th place in the Championship table and take on the Swans at home tomorrow having already been beaten three times at home this season.

Compare that to just two defeats at home last term and you can see why their league position is not quite what the experts predicted at the start of the season.

But that will soon change with Bryan Klug - their number 2 - telling the Evening Post "We are much better than 17th

"The players believe that and, in the league we're in, 17th is just three points away from sixth place, so we can soon push up the table.

"We know we have not got the points we should have but I believe in the players and the squad is getting stronger all the time.

"The players are beginning to get to know each other and hopefully over the next six games we'll pick up the points we should, then carry that on for the rest of the season."

Tomorrow's game at Portman Road kicks off at 3pm
