Roberto Martinez insists that his side will continue to play the same way despite the absence of the influential Ferrie Bodde
The Swansea City midfielder will sit out the rest of the season following his injury against Birmingham City but Roberto insists that despite the huge impact of Bodde this season, he has replacements in the squad that will continue the tradition they have built.
When questioned whether he will change his style, he told the Evening Post "We cannot do that
"We have to change certain details and I know the players have the personality and the quality to do that.
"We have got a few playmakers in this club. You cannot compare any two directly, but we have players apart from Ferrie who can keep the tempo of the game up and can see a pass.
"We all know Ferrie is a unique player in terms of what he is good at.
"They are irreplaceable, but we can adjust things and adapt and that's a great challenge for the squad.
"We need to find different partnerships and change our pattern of play slightly but still be as effective and as strong as we have been.
"It's a very unfortunate situation, but we have been in this sort of position before and there are players in our squad who are desperate to make their mark."
