How Roberto viewed the Swans 0-0 draw at Bristol City

He told the official Swansea City website

"It was great to see Dorus back enjoying his football after such a horrific injury,'' declared Roberto. "He's back to his best.

"He's played a lot of games for us since he joined last season and when we've needed him, he's been there for us.

"He's a great asset for Swansea City.

"It didn't cross the line,'' said Roberto in relation to Bristol City's claim for a goal. "The linesman had the best view and he made a good decision.''

It was a view contested by his opposite number Gary Johnson, who claimed: "From what I've seen on the video, it was clearly over the line.

"I'm not blaming the officials because the linesman couldn't see with their 'keeper in the way.

"I thought we were one goal away from a good win and the boys went for it from the first moment to the 90th minute.

"I was pleased with many aspects of our performance and a draw was a fair result if you look at the whole 90 minutes.

"We are a lot better than we showed in other aspects. We knew it was a tough place to come because they had only won one game in the last eight and they were desperate for a win at home.

"We defended well as a team and looked solid. Yes, we will continue to be attacking because that's our style, but if you want to be successful you need to be strong off the ball as well.

"We showed great character and overall the performance is something to be pleased with, although maybe that killer touch was missing today.''
