Roberto Martinez believes that there is still more to come from Jason Scotland as he passes the 20 goal barrier again

The Swansea City striker grabbed his 20th goal of the season at Nottingham Forest on Saturday and goes in search of his 50th strike in Swansea City colours on Tuesday night when Plymouth are the visitors to the Liberty Stadium.

The City Ground strike was his 49th goal in just 95 Swans appearances (82 starts) meaning his strike rate is better than 1 in 2 by some comfortable margin already.

And Martinez believes that there is more to come from the man who during the week was linked with both Wigan and Fulham thanks to his goalscoring exploits.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Roberto said "He hasn't hit his peak, in the remaining games we'll see him take his game to another level.

"To score 20 goals at this level is outstanding

"It is an an amazing story as the progression he has made and the responsibility he takes is fantastic.

"Jason is not the sort of player who relies on his physical threat to score goals

"He relies on his quality. When you rely on that, the higher you play, around better players, the easier it becomes for you.

"With Jason I have never had doubts he could go into the Premier League and score goals there.

"But Swansea are certainly getting a lot of enjoyment from Jason's football."
